How many times can you say YUM during one meal? too many to count! Everything on the menu here is great. Never too much butter/oil and always leaves you full but not sick to your stomach. Waiting staff is always very nice and accommodating to all special needs. I would recommend all of the omelettes and the french toast for first timers. Oh and the coffee is surprisingly good. Keep up the good work!

This was our first visit to The Cracked Egg. We are not local, but travel to Las Vegas regularly. ATMOSPHERE: This is a casual and roomy restaurant. They make the most of their space, but it definitely didn't feel cramped in any way. SERVICE: Average. Our server was friendly and offered her suggestions when asked. She was very busy with many tables. I was a little disappointed when she dropped off the bill without us asking for it, or asking if we were finished with our meal. But when I needed a box to take my food to go, we had to flag her down. FOOD: The Enchilada -- Had just the right mixture of ingredients. The sauce to pepper to tortilla to egg ratios complemented one another exquisitely without overpowering each other. The hash browns were crispy (at our request) and tasty. The coffee cake side was warm, sweet and delicious. Croissant French Toast -- very tasty. The bread was a little chewier than I'd hoped for but in retrospect, some croissants are chewy so I'm not sure this is avoidable. The berries were absolutely delectable - fresh and full of flavor. Overall, we were very satisfied with this experience and would return.

5 visits and it's always been great! The servers have all been friendly, helpful and cheerful. The food has been great and I've been getting from different parts of the menu each time. The only thing to keep in mind is you may have to wait 20-30 minutes during the busy hours, that's not incoming but keep it in mind (I've overheard others complaining about it while we've been waiting) We come here almost once a week and we'll continue to do so !

Great place for an after ride revival! The staff went out of their way to get our larger group of hungry cyclists seated and served . I have to say... the service great and the plates generous and tasty. Love the Sweet Potato Skillet!

I'm stuck between 3 and 4 stars. I will be back to try other things. I had the Classic French Toast made with their thick Sourdough bread. It was better then some places I had tried, but nothing to rave about. I do wish they had a french toast combo that came with bacon and eggs. I love me some french toast but I could have used some protein too.

Love coming here the omelettes are so yummy!! I always get fruit on the side.. It's nice they have gealthy options on their menu

The Cracked Egg is very similar to other popular "egg" breakfast joints but I don't believe they're under the same ownership. The restaurant is in a space that used to house a hipster slider joint so there are still remnants of a once trendy space. The service and menu is pretty standard for this type of place. I would recommend trying the croissant French toast if you're not in the mood for eggs. Eggs are the star here. The coffee is not. It's so weak that it tastes like hot water with an almost indistinguishable hint of coffee.

After my doctor's appointment this morning, I stopped here for breakfast. The place opened recently and I wanted to check it out knowing that it was part of a chain. Before looking at the menu, one of the bus people came and brought me coffee. I first checked the specials board. Then I looked over the menu. After some thought, I went with one of the specials and ordered a Cordon bleu skillet. The skillet had potatoes, chicken, ham, and swiss cheese and Hollandaise. I got my two eggs over easy and rye toast. In less than five minutes, my server brought the skillet over and it looked great! It also tasted that way. The chicken pieces were real chicken--not formed chicken. The swiss cheese covered the top. I was pleasantly surprised that the skillet was not heavy on cubed potatoes to use a cheaper ingredient to cut back on the ham and chicken. My coffee was refilled without waiting and service was good. I'm glad we now have a good breakfast place in the neighborhood.

I've been missing out. Apparently The Cracked Egg is not affiliated with Egg Works or Egg & I (the usual breakfast spots I frequent). So the original plan was to go to the new Egg Works in Summerlin, but my friend actually drove us to this joint which also recently opened. Saturday brunch - 25 min wait. Well, let me take this time to walk over to Smiths and buy cookies and Cheez its. At least there was something to do during the wait. I give the food 5 stars. All the dishes were super good. We ordered: - California omelette: bacon slices wrapped in an omelet with a sliced avocado on top, served with seasoned potatoes and choice of coffee cake or toast - Hot Pastrami sandwich on a roll. There were some bacon slices and cheese. The seasoned fries were DELICIOUS, very seasoned and tasty. Crispy, not soggy. - Nutella french toast topped with mini marshmallows and graham crackers. We thought this dish would be too sweet for one person's meal, so we shared. Right amount of Nutella, it wasn't lacking. Didn't even need to really dip in syrup bc it was sweet. Only ate half of it. Service was not the greatest, hence the 1 star deduction. The coffee cake was never brought out, so we asked the waitress to pack it to-go for us. We waited a while for the check. I will definitely go back, but I hope the service is better. If only this were Egg Works and they had that yellow egg on the table to notify servers when we need assistance.

This place never fails to impress. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is wonderful. More impressive, the quality carries from location to location. I've tried a lot on the menu and yet to be disappointed, even lunch is good. Mainly I come for breakfast though. Scrambles, omelets and benny's... oh my! I think the southwest scramble is my personal favorite. Spicy and yummy just like me. If spicy isn't your thing, try the south shore scramble. Chicken and avocado will set you up for a good day.

Our waitress was 5 star. We ordered the breakfast burrito & it was very tasty & a little spicy... Comes with hash browns or seasoned potatoes. Hash browns were way better... Also you get toast or coffee cake if you want it... Chocolate chips in the coffee cake. Eggs Benedict come in several varieties... We tried the vegetable type & it was good but would recommend clarification to the wait staff as to how you want it cooked. We found the eggs to be a bit undercooked. Also, if you don't want the English Muffin with the Benedict, you must ask them not to include it. Vegetable means veggies on top of the English Muffin, topped with Spinach, Tomato & Avocado.

Just moved to the area... 3 people at the desk when we walked in. The woman who greeted us was not exactly welcoming off friendly. Said hold on after asking us so how many? I'm like good morning to you too.... There was a cute brown haired girl that has just started... She helped buffer that abrasiveness and was smiling and asked us how our day was going. ... GOOD JOB GIRL! ... I told the front, I think your employee needs a tab bit of training in customer service... As this is summerlin and I just moved here and first impressions are everything! ..... Went and ate at the bar in back... Service was EXCELLeNT and the food was delicious!!!!!! The MANAGER delivered our food and apologized... Well Played! Well Played! ...And we chatted for a bit. She's running a great Resturant!!!! I was very impressed with their quick response to my issue!! Wonderful! And I'll definately be back!

    | I take my cream and sugar with a hint of coffee! | Coffee is always fresh. Orange Juice is always fresh. Took on the chocolate banana pancakes and my partnah in crime had the sausage, crispy hash brown , and over easy eggs. Add the coffee cake and pow... It's a power breakfast! Everything was superb. I love this joint!

Good gravy! Good God! You get a TON of food. I am still full and i ate there in December. The omelette I ordered had a TON of avocados on it. Usually they put like 3 and call it a California Omlette. But no. They put like 7 slices. And did I mention the gravy and biscuits? Off the strip, waaaay off the strip. Thats how to appreciate Vegas.

Good food, good atmosphere and fast service. The coffee cake was great! They had colored pencils for kids to keep busy. The signs and decorations were cute. We were staying at the red rock resort nearby and this was perfect for getting out and eating somewhere else.

Seriously this place is overrated. It is just a so-so breakfast/brunch spot. I took two groups of students out to breakfast on two different days and tried the waffles one morning and the omelet the next. I was not overly impressed and the students were polite enough not to complain and look a gift horse in the mouth, but no one (and this was a sample of over 12 meals) was raving about their food. There are not many options outside the Red Rock, but if I ever go again I will definitely try to find something better.

Love this place! Our favorite local breakfast spot and we were so happy when they opened this location in Summerlin. We are always greeted warmly and seated quickly. The service is fast and efficient and the food comes out quickly. Always order the coffee cake instead of toast! It's delicious and so light and moist and served warm. I like the build your own breakfast skillet with the seasoned potatoes! I also like that they have vanilla creamers for my coffee :) Always a great experience and the food is always amazing. In my opinion, it's a little on the pricy side for breakfast but everything is now a days.

One of my favorite breakfast places in town. Food is always great. Servers are always busy but still give you the right amount of attention. South shore scramble is my every time meal. Loaded with bacon. (Get it without chicken it's better). Come here twice a month at least and always enjoyable. Any mistake in order usually comes from a busy kitchen but is fixed quick. Definitely refer for breakfast/brunch. Never order lunch but doesn't mean it's not just as good. :)

I really love this restaurant, their food is amazing! I always have the cracked croissant and a side of coffee cake, and they're delicious. I've had their biscuit with gravy and it is by far the best side I've had in awhile. I'm a big fan of breakfast joints and think this one is by far one of the best I have been too in a very long time. I highly recommend it.

Food was good, came out quickly. Love the spot its at. Only downfall was our waitress was horrible. She seemed like she didn't want to be there never checked on us, and just overall sucked. Other than that no complaints :)

The corn beef hash was just so so. The corn beef was not "hashed".Waitress should have warned me not to order the hash brown because there is already potatoes under the corn beef. Should have sub it with fruits. This breakfast place is exactly what this area needs. Flooded with natural light, cheerful and airy. Waiting stuff was friendly. Next time I'll just order eggs over easy, toast and coffee. Other stuff on the menu looks too heavy.

I love having breakfast here and the food is really good. The Veggie Bennie is my fav, but I always do it with scrambled eggs instead of poached. The only thing that holds me back from giving 5 stars is that when sitting outside, the service is much slower. Other than that this place is great.

  • Corine M.

Just finished a delightful breakfast. I would definitely go back but still doesn't beat my favorite place... Blueberry hill pancake house. Love the new location of this place. Fast and pleasant service. Never had to wait or ask for a refill on our water and coffee. Coffee cake is a great choice. Moist warm and not overly sweet with the right amount of icing. I've had the monte crisco at the different location which I do love but this time had the egg white scramble. Nice flavor and a good serving size. Will be back.

I was a little apprehensive about visiting The Cracked Egg since many of the reviews so far weren't so good. I'd been watching the construction of this restaurant since it is very close to my job and I frequent some of the other businesses in the area. Luckily, either I visited at a good time of day, or they worked out the initial kinks in service, because I had a lovely experience. The restaurant is bright and cheerful, with a semi-open kitchen. There are several large booths and tables throughout, as well as patio seating (no dogs allowed, the sign is pretty prominent). I was seated promptly, my drink order was taken right away, and my server checked on me throughout the meal. I enjoyed my Californian omelette, which was served with a choice of home fries, hash browns, or fruit along with a choice of toast or coffee cake. Next time, I will definitely get the coffee cake, because it looked great. I was able to sample a piece (my friend got the coffee cake), and it was really yummy. Apparently, they have different varieties daily. Prices were reasonable, with most items averaging between $10-$12. I expect that The Cracked Egg gets really busy on the weekends, and the parking situation was already pretty tight because there are so many other businesses nearby. It is nice having a breakfast/brunch option in Summerlin!

  • Jason B.

The coffee cake was great but everything else was average. I love bacon and the bacon here is bad.

    (3)
  • Deshika B.

Best effing breakfast in town! The chili cheese skillet is ev-ry-thing! Relatively inexpensive! The best hostesses and waiters/waitresses around. Tends to be on the busy side on weekends, the brunch crowd can get a little hectic, so expect at least a 30 min wait, but it's well worth the wait.

    (5)
  • Samantha H.

Plan for a wait on the weekends but it goes fast. The outside patio is nice if the weather is good. Food is typical breakfast eats but done well. My favorite is the corned beef hash - real corned beef and hashbrowns. I add the chorizo for some spice. Coffee cake is amazing, as are the seasoned potatoes. Updated 7/5. By the way, after finally trying out a dish that was labelled similarly at its competition "The Egg and I", I was sorely disappointed in their version. Way to win the battle of the breakfast!

  • Jamie G.

It was really difficult for me to choose what I wanted from the menu, everything sounded so good! I really enjoyed what I decided on, the croissant french toast. They didn't skimp out on the berries like most places do- they totally loaded it up! The coffee cake is also to die for. My family (whom I went with) also all enjoyed their meals. Also, great service and very friendly staff.

  • Nina N.

My boyfriend and I came here because it was a nice stroll down from my house - the neighborhood feel was great - and it was sure busy! We got seated immediately at a two top, although the weather was lovely enough to sit outside. The menu averages as a basic breakfast and lunch place with a traditional coffee cake offered as a side. My boyfriend ordered a classic eggs & bacon which is served with toast and potatoes and I was split between the Ole Benedict and chili skillet, choosing the latter. The food came out quick and hot within 5 minutes! Our waitress was decent if you include the business of the restaurant. Helpful and gave us attention when needed. Overall the food was great, enough cheese to satisfy the best fanatics. But nothing over the top in quality to make me a regular. It's nice that it's close in the neighborhood as walking distance but I'll probably go back in a few months if I get a craving. 3/5

  • Lauren R.

The hostess is completely scattered brain and rude. I understand this is a busy place for breakfast but I called and placed a order to go at 1:00pm and by the time I got there she never even put it in the system and told me that no one ever called. I showed her proof on my phone and then the next thing you know the manager came up and saw my order written down on the order slip. A little aggravated she then all a sudden remembered me calling and apologized. I work at a restaurant 10 x busier than this place and a mistake like this is very unprofessional. I hope they work on this or get a more suitable host.

    (2)
  • Kate G.

This place has great food and really nice servers, BUT it is a struggle to order vegetarian dishes. We wanted to substitute veggies for meat on an omelet, but were told no because their policy is meat for meat substitute only. This is the first restaurant that hasn't accommodated vegetarian needs. I would have given a higher rating had it been different. We won't be coming back because we can't eat here.

Went for the first time yesterday after working out. The service was great. The menu has plenty of choices. My wife ordered a skillet which was great. I ordered the Chili Verde Rancheros and the regular hash browns. I am glad they serve regular hash browns. The coffee cake was tasty however, have you ever microwaved coffee cake and it is really hot in the center plus has a feel that screams microwaved? It was kind of like that. I would rather have a piece of warm coffee cake that did not pass through a microwave(just seems like it did). My meal was very tasty but the shredded pork in the Rancheros had hard edges like it had been sitting out. Lastly, when we walked in and asked for a booth, the hostess gave us a gas face as if by asking for a booth we were throwing off the table rotation by not taking a two top. But...we will be back. If I did not like the place it would get less then 4 stars

Love everything about this place. So welcoming. Food is great. This is my go to breakfast spot.

    (5)
  • D V.

I think this place survives due to its location. Our third time here and the entrees don't look or taste like anything beyond what you can do in your own kitchen. The coffee cake isn't worth the calories. It tastes like a boxed mix over a layer of jam. I will say the servers are nice and prompt. The food isn't anything to write home about.

Love this place. It's my go to breakfast place. I recommend the chili skillet, California omelet, French toast... Everything is delicious. Service is fast and friendly.

I had my assistant call the Cracked Egg to ask for an owner I could send the below letter to. "Curtis" got on the phone, wouldn't give his last name, and yelled at my assistant! So with no other outlet than Yelp, here's the letter: To Whom It May Concern: I live very near the new Cracked Egg restaurant at Charleston and Hualapai. My inquisitive 3-year-old daughter watched with great anticipation as the new "muffin store" was being built, and the morning of 4/27/14 I took her there (she was very excited). I would normally bring my wife and 1-year-old son, but my wife was home sick with a cold. What followed was the worst customer service experience of my life. Given the recent opening of the restaurant, wait staff and hostesses were understandably unpracticed and the operation wasn't running as smoothly as I expect it will over time. However, when I complained to the manager about needlessly waiting for 15 minutes after it was our turn to be seated, a man approached me, and with no introduction or conversation, promptly escorted me out the front door (my 3-year-old daughter riding on my hip), and rudely and loudly told me to "get in my car, leave, and never come back." I encouraged him to listen to me, his customer, and he rudely told me "look around, are you the only one here with an infant?" I'm not a loud, large, or scary-looking man; in fact, I'm a 47-year-old, well-respected member of the business community. I serve on two high profile community boards, and own and operate a small, local business. Suffice it to say, I've never been banned from any establishment, and found the whole experience horrifying, especially in light of having my young daughter with me. The saddest part of this experience is my 3-year-old daughter now speaks (unsolicited) about the "bad man at the Cracked Egg who wouldn't let us have pancakes and bacon." She shouldn't have to worry about facing hostility at any of our neighborhood establishments. It's shameful. Sincerely, Jeff G.

Was here on Sunday. Waitress was fantastic. However we had ants all over our table & had to move. In addition the main reason we went there was to use the $8.00 credit that was on the rewards card I registered for. However the manager informed me at check out that the credit would have to be used at a different time once the rewards company had mailed it out. Not only that but she was all but rude in how she explained it and was not even apologetic for the ant situation. You would think that under the circumstances she would have at the minimum offered to buy our drinks or something. So very disappointed with how this was handled.

Customer service is terrible at this location. We waited 20 minutes to be seated. Two customers came in a couple minutes after us and were seated before us. Needless to say we walked off and will not be coming here again.

Eggggg-cellent service, good food, good prices. Server was able to grab me the last piece of pumpkin coffee cake even though they ran out, it was a corner piece that I figure they couldn't sell so she gave it to me free of charge. What a sweetie! That's a winner in my book!

  • Adam J.

I've really tried to like this place mainly since it is so close to my house, but you never know what you're going to get. I've been here about six times and 3 times we had a bad experience. Once we had to send our to food back and twice for poor service. On this, our final visit, Leah was our server. She took our order and brought our food and that was pretty much it. No checking on us or our drinks. When I tried to get her attention, she was too busy giggling and talking with a couple servers and what appeared to be a manager. I had to ask the hostess for our check and refill. Two stars for decent food, but I'll drive the extra 2 miles for Egg Works from now on.

First time at this location...1pm on a Tuesday. The food was good we got huevos rancheros and corned beef hash..but the service was ridiculously s l o w. It took 20 minutes after finishing the meal before the check was dropped :( good food though.

This place only gets a single star and that's only because our waitress was so kind. We were excited to come to this new location. Came after a walk with my friends and small dog. We sat on the patio and ordered. When the waitress was finishing our order she informed us we could not stay with our dog. We said okay we'll put her on the other side of the railing. She informed us she didn't think we could do that either. I informed her at other restaurants as long as the dog wasn't in their "dinning area" it should be okay. She left to ask the manager. The owner came out.....actually stood in the door way. In a very curt tone informed us I'm not serving you. I don't care what side the dog is on. No apology nor any sound of remorse or empathy in his voice. I see now why you and your partner have problems. We left and had a lovely pet friendly breakfast at EGG WORKS

I definately would come here again, the service is great (she wanted to add me on snapchat) and the food it great. It is the perfect size and it is a great welcoming restaurant. I would prefer THE MONTE CRISTO, a ham and swiss cheese sandwich coated in french toast batter, and deep fried. 10/10 would totally recommend!!!

Not sure what the high demand is about. Food wasn't bad but wasn't that good. We had great service from the front desk and waitress. Very efficient considering how busy they are. Nothing special. Wont be back. I ordered the enchilada omelette and my fiance ordered the Greek omelette. He agrees this place is OVER RATED. But again the atmosphere is upbeat and friendly.

breakfast is my favorite meal! cracked egg is always so busy, and yet, they find you seats very quickly and the servers are always so joyful and give you quality time. they don't act rushed bit make you feel special and welcome. sweet potato skillet with bacon and apples was bomb!

Best breakfast in town. Have tried a few omelets. My favorite so far. Open for breakfast and lunch only. Service is fast every time I have been there. Friendly too. I always look forward to this place. I will have to try lunch sometime soon. Let you all know how it is.

I have been to several of the cracked egg locations and have never had anything but a great experience. I personally prefer to go to local family owned establishments like this one. I love to get the peanut butter stuffed french toast. I also like to get the build your own skillet because the variety of options they have. I noticed somebody wrote a tip about it but it is worth repeating that their coffee cake is excellent. I might be addicted to it as I can't prevent myself from ordering it whenever I come to the cracked egg. My favorite one to get when it is available is the peanut butter one but they all are good. Over the years I have tried the majority of options they have had on their menu and was always satisfied. This new location is no different. Keep up the good work!

Decided to try the The Cracked Egg because of their gluten-free offerings but was disappointed. Husband & I had lunch and then gave another try at breakfast the next morning. Not wonderful either time. GF pancakes were not cooked all the way through leaving gooey middle. Lunch had problems as well. Service was not the best either.

I came in half an hour before they closed. The first thing the hostess says to me is they close in 30 rather than greeting us. Within two minutes of sitting down the waitress in the next section over is talking horribly about the table across from us with one of the managers. Hopefully they reevaluate their customer service skills and take their personal opinions in the kitchen next time instead of in front of their guests

  • Larry B.

I want to put less than 1 star I didn't even have a chance to sit down and look at the menu when I was rudely turned away from the establishment because I had my dogs with me. Now I wasn't trying to sit inside, I was getting a table on the patio and have my dogs on the outside of the rail. The man said he was the owner, we'll I wish him the worst.

Tried the Cracked Egg in Summerlin today (close to home) the breakfast was good, my wife ordered the ruben nothing special. Decor is good, clean. Overall just OK, I think if I'm going pay $10-$12 per breakfast I'm going to stick with the the Egg and I, or Bagel Cafe.

Service was great, food came out pretty fast. You really want to try their delicious coffee cake! The omelette I order was okay, food presentation can definitely improve. Overall, it was a good breakfast place.

I placed a to go order at 932am today by the time I arrived at the location at 950am our food was ready. The hostess greeted me as I walked in, told her my name, paid my ticket and drove back home. The easiest most convenient morning this week. The food was hot and very tasty. I will continue business with them.

Start your day off right!!! Food is fantastic!!! Nice new store close to Red Rock casino. Breakfast is my favorite meal and never disappointed here. Staff is great, funny, fun yet professional. My all time favorite server is Rhonda, the tall blonde she's quite witty and always make me/us laugh!

Food is decent quality. Brunette hostess was very rude and ruined the experience. She refused to smile and pretty much threw the pen at me to sign my receipt.

Was pretty excited that a Cracked Egg was in close by my work. Thought I'd stop in. No wait, place was pretty nice, it's newer so everything is nice and shiny. Took about less than a minute to get our drink order but over 4 to get our waitress back to our table. She was tall, thin, short curly hair. She was ok, took order, told us our food would be awhile. DOn't know why, but ours took longer than everyone around us, we just ordered eggs and bacon with toast :/ finally got our food. It was nothing special. Had better, had worse. The only saving grace was the 2 for 1 coupon. Haven't been back. Probably wont be either.

Very basic breakfast, service at this place is horrible,,,do not sit outside, been there twice and same horrible service both times, coffee empty, bussers walking by not helping out. I had to go to the host to get some attention to the table. You can certainly do better than this place for breakfast.

The Cracked Egg recently opened in Summerlin. There was a line out the door the morning we were there. The food was serviceable, but no dish stood out as something special. I had the low fat special. Which had chicken, green chilies, red salsa and tortilla chips. It tasted okay but did not look very appetizing on the plate. It looked like a pinkish mash. The tortilla chips were also mushy. It seemed like they were trying to make a healthier version of chilaquiles, but the execution was so so. Still, it was eatable. My husband had the carnitas omelette which was fine. Our friends two of the skillets and the eggs Benedict. All of which were also fine. The best part of the meal was the coffee cake that they offer as a side. It's served warm with a sugar glaze on top. This place is an okay breakfast option if your favorite place is too packed. I think the wait that we experienced was because this is a new place. The crowds will die down after it's been open a while.

This place gets only 1star as well because of the waitress was nice. One of the hostess as we walked in was rude and did not even smile. I commented for her to smile, the more she gave me this dagger look. We were excited about this new place but with what happened, it will be a while for the next visit.
